Gut health seems to find its way into nearly every conversation relating to health and there’s a good reason; it impacts almost every system in our body. In addition to digestion, gut health greatly influences our brain, skin, and heart. Our mood, weight, and hormones are all directly connected to the gut microbiome, what we call the ecology of microbes that live in our digestive tracts. Many imbalances you may not even realize can have a root in your gut health.
Have you ever wondered what the root-cause to PMS, breast tenderness and swelling, irregular or heavy periods, low libido, infertility, weight gain, or ovarian cysts may be? For many people, these imbalances start in the gut. For some, they manifest due to a hormonal imbalance called estrogen dominance, one of the main hormonal imbalances that can occur in the body. Our past health, environment, current lifestyle, and daily practices greatly impacts our gut health and microbiome and in turn, our hormonal picture. This includes factors such as the foods you eat, the water you drink, the products you use, your own thoughts and experiences, your genes and their expression, your own personal antibiotic therapy history, and even the hormonal birth control you may have been on or are currently taking!
Join me on December 6th from 6-8 pm for an in-depth workshop to learn about your gut health and the connection it has with your hormones, the factors that influence it, and what you can do to heal this important system!
